Jeff Savage - What it Means to Be a Gentleman

Hi, my name is Jeff Savage. 
You know, 
I think back a lot of times to when we're kids and we say, what do you want to be when you grow up? 
And we think, you know, maybe I want to be a doctor or I want to be an astronaut or the president of the United States of America. And we often think about that question as one singular thing. I'm going to do one thing with my life.
But back in the day, I didn't really realize that I would be doing a lot of things and at the same time. I am a professional voice actor. I'm an on-screen actor. 


I host a talk show called Take Two about the Dallas acting community. I'm a globe-trotting marathon runner and endurance athlete.
And I'm also a best-selling author. 


I wrote a book called Savage Resilience, Conquer Adversity and Be Your Own Hero. And you know that title, conquer adversity means facing challenges. But be your own hero. What's that mean? Kind of sounds a little self-congratulatory, doesn't it? 


Well, it is.


You see, in life, we are all the stars of our own story. We are, we can consider ourselves to be the main character in the movie of our life. And we better look at ourselves as being the hero of that story. Because if you don't believe in yourself, no one else is going to believe in yourself either.
