Mark Neace - What It Means to be a Gentleman

A gentleman aspires to live daily by a defined code of ethics.
As a Scouter and Rotarian, I have chosen to use the Scout Oath and Law and The Four Way Test as the guideposts on my path through life.
“On my honor I will do my best…”
A gentleman puts forth their best effort in each and every endeavor they, always looking for opportunities to serve others.
“Of the things I think, say, or do…”
A gentleman is centered in truth and fairness, always focused on mutually beneficial enterprise.
So, when I meet challenges each day I look to the tenants of Scouting and Rotary to remind me of the true gentleman that I want to be.
